Alistair Bridges

Alistair is a senior lawyer with Moulis Legal. He is a key resource for our clients in the handling of major trade, commercial and cross-border matters.

At Moulis Legal, Alistair has advised and represented clients in a range of commercial and regulatory areas, including anti-dumping and countervailing investigations, safeguards investigation, customs valuation, customs classification, export controls, country of origin, cross-border transactions, sanctions compliance and Federal Court litigation.

Alistair has researched and written about a range of topics, including anti-dumping and countervailing duty, jurisprudence, national trade sanctions regimes, Federal and State government renewable energy schemes and various commercial property and land development matters.

Alistair graduated from the University of Tasmania with a double Bachelor in Economics (Analysis) and Laws, with honours. His studies incorporated the economics of international trade, with a special focus on the dynamics of the Asia-Pacific region. He holds a Masters of Law, with merit, specialising in International Law, from the Australian National University.

He has been ranked as an ‘Associate to Watch’ in the International Law/WTO arena by Chambers & Partners in 2013 and 2014.
